Hiiiii! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Alex, a photographer, filmmaker, and AURA reader located in Raleigh, NC. My work focuses on empowerment, self love and freedom through portraiture.

To me, photography is spiritual experience. It’s a safe space to explore and dream of all the different ways you can embody your highest self. For a lot of people, it’s their first time seeing themselves from the perspective of someone else. My photos are shot through a lens of love and radical acceptance.

Portraiture can be such a liberating and freeing experience if you let it. Having your photo taken doesn’t have to be nerve wracking and scary experience. I’m here to guide you every step of the way, offering you a supportive and affirming experience. This is truly what I was born to do!

My favorite part of the experience is watching you leave your session empowered and in love with the art we created. I know how to pull out all the best parts of you, bring them out on camera and remind you that you ARE the badass in those photos. It’s always been you. You just had to show up ready + willing to trust the process.

The HAUS of APW is a safe space open to all bodies! We are a Queer, woman-owned photography studio offering portraits and videography in a body affirming, sex positive, shame free zone.
